What Is ARCScribe?
ARCScribe is a free, open-access platform for discovering, copying, and creating rare Unicode symbols. Unlike generic "symbol copy paste" websites, ARCScribe focuses on the deepest, most obscure layers of the Unicode standard — blocks that most people don't even know exist.
Our database includes Alchemical Symbols (medieval chemical notation), Cuneiform (5,000-year-old Sumerian writing), Norse Runes (Elder Futhark, Younger Futhark, and Anglo-Saxon variants), Ogham (ancient Irish script), Phaistos Disc signs, Yijing Hexagrams (I Ching), Tai Xuan Jing symbols, and Egyptian Hieroglyphs.
Our Tools
The Vault — A curated collection of 500+ rare symbols organized by category. Click any symbol to copy it instantly to your clipboard.
The Lab — A symbol mixer that lets you stack Unicode combining marks onto base characters, creating unique glyphs that don't exist in any standard font.
The Forge — A text styling engine with 21+ Unicode font transformations including Bold, Italic, Fraktur (Gothic), Double-Struck, Script, Small Caps, Upside Down, Circled, Squared, Fullwidth, and Regional Indicators.
Why We Built This
Every "fancy text" website looks the same: white background, generic UI, the same hearts and stars from 2015. We built ARCScribe because we wanted something different — a tool that matches the dark aesthetic its users are looking for, with symbols that are genuinely rare and hard to find anywhere else.
ARCScribe is built with zero dependencies. No React, no frameworks, no bloat. Just HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The entire site loads in under 1 second.
